St. John, USVI, and Washington D.C.
In June of 2007, the tribe headed off to St. John in the US Virgin Islands, along with Gracie Simmons and her two sons, Nick and Michael.
Home base for the week was Croix Vista, a beautiful villa perched on the hillside above Fish Bay on St. John's southern shore.
Grace was full of anicipation on the flight from Washington/Dulles to the Virgin Islands
The boys proved that sharks aren't only in the ocean: here Braden couldn't even wait to get out of the pool to wolf down a bowl

Michael landed several good-sized barracudas on our deep sea fishing trip.. Michael was also a wonderful comedian, keeping us in stitches
with his Borat impressions.
Iguanas were as common as squirrels back home.

On the return trip, we stopped over at the Smithsonian's new Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum near Dulles Airport. Many thanks to cousin
Dean Self for being such a gracious host and providing shuttle service to the airport!
